Doña Juana ("Lady Juana" in Spanish) is a washed Guatemalan blend grown by the Asproguate cooperative of women at altitudes of up to 2200 m in the volcanic soils of Chimaltenango. Through the "Fuerza de Mujer" (Strength of Women) programme, part of every purchase goes towards training the growers in finance, health and nutrition. Roasted in Switzerland at 1000 m for a smooth, low-acidity cup, the beans deliver bright citrus and yellow fruit aromas with a lingering finish of molasses and dark chocolate. Certified organic and Fairtrade, it's a great choice for espresso, French press or pour-over.
